The Knights & Orchids Society (TKO) is a southern centered grassroots startup founded and led by black, queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming people supporting gender justice and LGBTQ visibility.
OUR PURPOSE
TKO empowers queer and other oppressed communities to create systems that improve the quality of life, justice, and equal rights and provide opportunities to maintain healthy lifestyles.
OUR MISSION
The Knights & Orchids Society (TKO) strives to build the power of the TLBG community for African Americans throughout rural areas in Alabama and across the south, to obtain our dream of justice and equality through group economics, education, leadership development, and organizing cultural work.

TKO actively contributes to the personal growth and development of its members. We teach social skills that benefit them throughout their lifetime. The multitude of leadership opportunities available through TKO prepares our members for success well into their chosen careers. Collective leadership programs help members strive for excellence and quality in all undertakings.
